Miles, assigned to affiliate Albuquerque of the NBA Development League on Wednesday, scored 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting from the field and pulled down six rebounds in 19 off-the-bench minutes while making his D-League debut in the Thunderbirds' 111-71 win at Fort Worth on Friday . . . Earlier this week the D-League's Fayetteville Patriots waived forward Mark Karcher, one of the Jazz's training-camp cuts this season . . . Usual Jazz television play-by-play man Craig Bolerjack is working UConn's NCAA game at Tennessee for CBS, so Steve Brown will fill in for him on Fox Sports Net Utah's broadcast of tonight's Jazz-Pistons game . . . The Jazz's 65 points Friday were a Memphis-opponent season low. Utah has scored 65 or fewer three times this season, and they are among the seven lowest-scoring games for the Jazz in franchise history.
