Developments in Monday's shooting of LDS missionaries in Chesapeake, Va.:

• Police have recovered what they believe is the handgun used to kill Elder Morgan W. Young and wound his companion, Elder Joshua Heidbrink.

• Police have received tips about the shooting on a crime phone line and have identified "persons possibly involved."

• Young's family has been swamped with interview requests by news media from around the world, including Australia and Germany.

• Young's parents and three siblings are expected to return from Virginia in a few days. They arrived in Virginia one hour after Morgan Young died at a hospital.

• Condolences to the family can be read or posted at a Web site operated by the Virginian-Pilot newspaper at www.hamptonroads.com.
