Sounds like Lynne Bowen of Collinston (Readers' Forum, Jan. 3) has been reading the American Family Association site about the upcoming TV show called "The Book of Daniel," or maybe she's on their mailing list. Her letter is taken almost verbatim from their Web site regarding this show, which to my knowledge hasn't been aired yet.
It may be a terrible TV show, and it may indeed be offensive, but to make a decision not to watch it based on information received from AFA seems kind of narrow-minded. Oh, wait, this is the AFA we are talking about, the epitome of narrow-mindedness.
Is she really going to stop buying all products advertised on NBC?
