As part of a review of its transit services, the Utah Transit Authority is proposing to restructure or eliminate several bus routes in Salt Lake County. Additional routes will be created or enhanced with more frequent service.
Changes are as follows:
Proposed route eliminations: 17, Poplar Grove. 25, Midvale. 35, East Kearns. 46, Draper Shuttle. 47, Riverton/Bluffdale Shuttle. 66, West Hunter. 81, 900 West. 117, Poplar Grove Night. 134, West Kearns Night. 142, Dixie Valley Night. 143, Bluffdale Night. 345, East Draper Shuttle.
Proposed route restructuring: 16, Glendale. 30, East/West 2100 South. 31, East/West 3300 South. 34, West Kearns. 36, Granger. 41, West Jordan. 42, Dixie Valley, 43, Bluffdale, 48, West Jordan Express. 56, Airport/West Valley. 88, Copperton. 347, Riverton Express.
Proposed route enhancements: 37, Magna. 43, Bluffdale.
Proposed route creation: 313, Sandy Fast Bus. 327, West Jordan Fast Bus. 346, Draper Fast Bus. The current Riverton Express is proposed to change to Route 347, Riverton/Herriman Fast Bus.
