ABOUT SCOTT: Undefeated at 13-0 so far this year, Scott is a returning state champion. He was named the outstanding wrestler at the Union Duals and the Desert Storm Tournament. He was also a first-team all-state football player.

ABOUT LOPEZ: Lopez is a defending state champion and two-time region champion. He has a 14-3 record this year. He was first at the Warrior Duals and was all-region and an all-state honorable mention in football.

ABOUT STEELE: After taking third in 2004, Steele was a state champion last year. He was the champion at the Millard Iron Man, Nighthawk Duals and Desert Storm, but his biggest accomplishment is being a cancer survivor.

ABOUT ROBINSON: A second-team all-state football player, Robinson is a two-time state placer including finishing second in 2005. His specialty is the pin with 63 falls in 94 wins over his career and in 15-of-17 matches this year.

Sterling Coons, Lone Peak

ABOUT TAYLOR: Taylor astonished many by winning a state title in his first year of wrestling in 2004. He backed it up by defending his state title last season, pinning his opponent in the championship in only 31 seconds.

ABOUT COONS: Coons is looking to improve on his fifth-place finish in 2005. He finished first at the Layton Invitational and followed with a second-place finish at the Weber Duals. He is also a first-team all-state football player.
