A Florida man was arrested this week after allegedly arranging for his wife to engage in sexual acts for money with an undercover detective.
The 32-year-old man was picked up by Salt Lake City police near 75 South and West Temple after allegedly attempting to solicit prostitution. According to court documents, he and his wife share the profits collected from the appointments. He allegedly told police they had more than 200 clients so far this year, in various states.
He was charged in 3rd District Court Thursday with one count of aggravated exploitation of prostitution, a second-degree felony. He was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on $200,000 cash-only bail because he is seen as a flight risk, as his permanent residence is in West Palm Beach, Fla.
