What they did

Utah and Georgia Tech dined together at a kickoff luncheon at the Westin St. Francis Hotel near Union Square. They were greeted by bands and cheerleaders from both schools while making their way to the function.

On the field

Heavy rain fell in the morning before clearing up by midday. The improved weather allowed both teams to hold a walk-through at SBC Park.

Today

The fourth annual Emerald Bowl kicks off at 2:30 p.m. MST.
