The Salt Lake County Library System has 19 branch libraries.

Here's a sampling of library activities:

Columbus Library, 2530 S. 500 East:

Thursday, Jan. 12, 7 p.m. — "Organizing for Life," for adults. A Clear and Simple organizing expert will show you how to "restore order to your space, clarity to your vision and freedom to your life." Building on the foundation for organization, you'll learn how to organize paper, time and your life.

Wednesday, Jan. 18, 7 p.m. — Parent/child yoga, for ages 3-10 and an adult. The Yoga Center of Holladay presents a class that you can enjoy with your kids. Start the new year with some calming and healthy ways to relax together! Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move.

Wednesday, Jan. 25, 10:30 a.m. — A senior citizen center book group. Call 944-7656 for this month's selection or more information.

East Millcreek Library, 2266 Evergreen Ave.:

Tuesday, Jan. 7, 7 p.m. — "Great Reads for Girls," for girls 8 and up with an adult caregiver.

Monday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m. — "Tropical Island Adventure," for families.

Saturday, Jan. 28, 2 p.m. — "No Girls Allowed," for boys ages 7 and up.

Monday, Jan. 30, 7 p.m. — Family Favorites Book Club.

Herriman Library, 13011 S. Pioneer Street (6000 West):

Saturday, Jan. 10, 7 p.m. — "Jugglenutz," for families. They're wild, they're wacky, they're a local phenomenon! Audiences are wild about Brent and Mark — computer nerds by day, Jugglenutz by night. This comedy/juggling routine has been featured on all the local television stations, at state and county fairs, professional and collegiate sporting events, schools, libraries, corporate events and everywhere else! Recently, Ringling Brothers asked them to run away and join the circus, but they thought their wives and children might object.
