PROVO — KBYU-TV will air two programs after tonight's broadcast of the events commemorating the 200th birthday of LDS Church founder Joseph Smith.

The shows, "Blessed Be His Name" and "Book of Gold," will be shown at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., respectively.

BYU performing groups are featured in "Blessed Be His Name."

"The Book of Gold," an original opera written by Glen Nelson and Murray Boren, combines new music with the story about the Book of Mormon.
