PROVO Provo's First Night celebration will light up the skies as it "Celebrates the World" every hour beginning at 6 p.m. with fireworks, culminating with a midnight fireworks finale that rivals any celebration in the state.
This family-centered event includes live entertainment each hour, dances and a special 8 p.m. concert in the Provo Tabernacle by Acoustic Soul, a premiere R&B Band. Passports allow entrance into family-fun craft and game tents with special discounts to the Peaks Ice Arena, Center Street Musical Theater and more.
Passports prepurchased cost $4 for adults, $2 children 16 and under; children under 5 are free. Passports purchased Dec. 31 are $5 and $3. Passports are sold at all Utah County Albertsons and Hogi Yogi locations and at the Provo City Center, 345 W. Center.
