Hague was dominant in all three facets of the game. Offensively, he rushed for 2,001 yards and 28 touchdowns. Defensively, the BYU-bound player returned an interception for a TD and was one of the hardest-hitting safeties in the state. He had 53 tackles and five interceptions. Hague also returned three kicks for touchdowns.

Class 4A MVP

Brady Wootton

Mtn. Crest, 5-11, 175, Sr.

One of the most dominant backs in the state was also a great receiver out of the backfield. Wootton rushed for 1,591 yards on 179 carries, while hauling in 34 receptions for 715 yards. The senior also finished the season with 25 touchdowns.

Class 3A MVP

James Lark

Pine View, 6-3, 205, Sr.

The BYU-bound QB had one of the greatest careers in state history. By passing for 3,248 yards and 36 touchdowns this year, Lark finished his career with 6,739 passing yards (third in state history) and 79 passing touchdowns (tied for the state record).

Class 2A MVP

Tanner Brown

Grand, 5-11, 167, Jr.

Brown was definitely the catalyst for Grand's 2A state title. He carried the ball 245 times for 2,026 yards and 20 touchdowns. In the state tournament, his average carries per game soared above 30.

Class 1A MVP

Tyler Ramsay

Kanab, 6-0, 195, Sr.

The running back and linebacker was arguably Kanab's best player on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he led the Cowboys to the 1A title with 663 rushing yards on 119 carries with 13 total touchdowns. Defensively, Ramsay racked up 49 total tackles, six of them for loss, and five sacks.
