• Red Butte Garden is offering three workshops on creating fresh wreaths. Workshops are scheduled Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.-noon. Each workshop is limited to 20 participants. Cost is $45 for members; $55 for nonmembers. Register at 581-8454.

• Utah Conservation Corps, an AmeriCorps program, is offering a full-time internship with Utah State University's Utah House and Utah Botanical Center in Kaysville. This will be a full-time paid position starting Jan. 16, 2006. Applicants should have a background in environmental studies, landscape architecture, education or horticulture.
