CLEVELAND Donyell Marshall made a key three-point play in regulation, then hit consecutive 3-pointers in overtime to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-105 Wednesday night.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 29 points before fouling out in overtime and LeBron James added 28 for Cleveland, which broke a two-game losing streak and improved to 7-1 at home.
Elton Brand scored 33 points and Sam Cassell had 26 to lead Los Angeles.
Marshall was 1-for-7 before running down the baseline to put back a missed 3-pointer by Larry Hughes with 47 seconds left in the fourth quarter. He tacked on a free throw to tie it at 95.
Brand had a chance to win the game in regulation, as his driving jumper in the lane misfired and James grabbed the rebound as time ran out.
WIZARDS 96, TRAIL BLAZERS 89: At Washington, Gilbert Arenas had 28 points and five assists, leading the Wizards over the road-weary Trail Blazers.
Antawn Jamison had 20 points and 15 rebounds for his sixth straight double-double. The Wizards forward has totaled 88 rebounds in his last six games.
Darius Miles led Portland with 21 points before fouling out with 18 seconds remaining on the play that sealed Washington's victory. Jared Jeffries stole the ball from Zach Randolph and passed to Jarvis Hayes, who converted a three-point play over Randolph that gave the Wizards a 96-89 lead.
PISTONS 93, NETS 83: At East Rutherford, N.J., Richard Hamilton scored 30 points and Detroit tied a team season high with 10 3-pointers in a win over the Nets.
Hamilton's 3-pointer gave the Pistons an 87-78 lead, their biggest since the first quarter. It came after a missed shot by Tayshaun Prince that New Jersey's Jason Collins fumbled out of bounds.
Chauncy Billups sank another 3-pointer after a basket by the Nets' Vince Carter to extend the lead to 90-80. Billups scored 20 points for Detroit and Prince added 17. The Pistons' starters scored 87 of the team's 93 points.
HEAT 96, HAWKS 74: At Atlanta, Jason Williams scored 21 points to help Miami beat the Hawks for their first road victory of the season without Shaquille O'Neal.
The Heat, who began a five-game road trip, improved to 8-5 since losing O'Neal to a sprained ankle.
