The Utah Housing Corp., an independent public corporation providing affordable housing opportunities, announced it is offering $30 million of mortgage funds at a 5.75 percent interest rate to low- and middle-income families purchasing a home.
In addition, UHC said it can provide financing for down payments and closing costs. About 205 lower-income families are expected to be helped as part of this program. UHC loans are available through 33 lenders in Utah. Certain limitations apply.
