"To race hard and get a world record wasn't really my goal. I just wanted to improve my (Olympic) qualifying for the 1,000." In all, six world records were set on the Kearns ice. The American long track speedskaters will be back at the Olympic Oval in late December for the U.S. Championships. Then in early January, the North American Long Track Championships will be held.
