Meat company giving 3,700 lbs. of turkey

Cargill Meat Solutions will donate 3,700 pounds of turkey to the Salt Lake City Mission to help feed the hungry this holiday season.

The company, producers of Honeysuckle White turkey products, is donating as part of its national More to Share hunger-fighting program, Cargill announced. It is partnering with Albertsons to make the Utah donation.

The Salt Lake mission is one of 29 charities across the country that will receive more than 116,000 pounds of turkey this season.
