The Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division recovered four stolen all-terrain vehicles and a trailer this week, valued at more than $24,000.
The items were reported stolen Oct. 24 from West Jordan, said MVED Sgt. Eric McPherson.
Investigators developed information that led them to Salt Lake City and the location of the stolen vehicles near 900 West and 140 South.
When officers arrived at the address, they identified themselves and asked to inspect the trailer, which was believed to have ATVs inside, McPherson said.
The homeowner consented, and officers ran the trailer's vehicle identification number, which came back listed as stolen, McPherson said.
Two men, a father and son, were arrested in the theft of the ATVs and the 24-foot trailer. A car also was recovered.
