Today on TV
Alias (7 p.m., Ch. 4): Sydney and APO try to find out who Gordon works for.
Joey (7 p.m., Ch. 5): To impress a girl, Joey volunteers to direct a musical. Big mistake.
The O.C. (7 p.m., Ch. 13): Taylor comes between Seth and Summer.
Everybody Hates Chris (7 p.m., Ch. 24): Chris' frugal father is thrilled when he finds $200 in food stamps. Chris' mother isn't so thrilled.
Smallville (7 p.m., Ch. 30): Professor Fine convinces Clark to destroy the Fortress of Solitude.
Will & Grace (7:30 p.m., Ch. 5): Jack announces he's moving.
CSI (8 p.m., Ch. 2): In the conclusion of a two-parter, Grissom tries to determine if a cop was killed by a fellow officer intentionally.
Reunion (8 p.m., Ch. 13): In 1991, Amy is kidnapped and Sam is forced to tell Craig the truth.
Everwood (8 p.m., Ch. 30): Hannah prepares to leave Everwood behind.
ER (9 p.m., Ch. 5): It's no longer fashionable to say so, but this is still a good show. It's not what it once was, but the current cast is very appealing, and as a medical soap, it's very watchable. But stunts like the one tonight a plane crash sort of make "ER" look desperate. Here's hoping it isn't as bad as the tank-on-the-loose-in-the-city stunt in a 2004 episode.
