Staker & Parson Companies was given five Environmental Eagle Awards from the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association for its commitment to the environment.
Staker & Parson won four Silver awards and one Bronze award for the following sites: Brigham City North Facility, South Weber Facility, McGuire Facility, Beck Street Quarry and Keigley Quarry.
The Environmental Eagle award program was created in 1992 as a way to recognize companies committed to "protecting and preserving the natural environment surrounding their operations," according to a statement released by the company.
