Voters across the state today will mark their ballots in municipal races with most mayor seats and a bevy of city council seats up for grabs.

In some cities, voters will be faced with various ballot propositions including an open space initiative in Alpine; initiatives on golf course funding and water utility governance in Highland; a recreation, arts and parks tax in Orem; and road bonds in Provo.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.

Utah County voters wanting to know where to vote can go online to www.co.utah.ut.us/Dept/ClerkAud/Elections/index.asp or call 801-851-8600 and ask for the clerk's office.

In Wasatch County, visit www.co.wasatch.ut.us/d/auditor.html or call 435-657-3190.
