PROVO Carri Jenkins, assistant to the president for University Communications at Brigham Young University, will speak Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center for a campus devotional.
As spokeswoman for the university, Jenkins will discuss what it means to be a spokesperson at BYU and in the Kingdom of God.
A Utah native, Jenkins received bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU in communications. She is a former associate editor of BYU Magazine, the university's alumni publication, and has also been an instructor in the BYU Communications Department, a university speech writer and a publicity director. Prior to her current position, she was the director of Media Communications at BYU.
