Marvin L. Jacobson

Political experience: Appointed to office of mayor in July 2004 after Mayor Hortt Carter resigned.

Education: Attended Utah Valley State College

Occupation: Drives truck for for Geneva Rock; worked 15 years at Geneva Steel.

Interesting fact: "I was born and raised in the Goshen Valley. I hunt, fish, swim — everything there is — right here in this town."

Dorothy Sprague

Age: 54

Political experience: Served on the town council from 1997-2001

Education: Attended Utah Technical College at Provo (now Utah Valley State College)

Occupation: Data entry and secretarial work for Deseret Feed Lot in Elberta

Interesting fact: "I like to cook, sew and quilt. And I love being a grandma."
