Utah gas prices don't add up

Having just paid $2.02 a gallon for gas in Oklahoma City yesterday, I find it hard to believe that simple supply and demand in Utah supports almost 60 cents a gallon difference between the two states. Oklahoma's gas tax is $0.068 a gallon lower and add another 10 cents a gallon for transportation to Utah, but where does the other 43 cents a gallon go? Easy answer to a loaded question: directly into pockets of refiners/retailers/oil companies of Utah. Maybe they think that we won't notice.
