FAIRFIELD The Utah Ghost Hunters Society will visit the historic Fairfield Schoolhouse at 1 p.m. Saturday to present its findings of a recent paranormal investigation at Camp Floyd State Park, 18035 W. 1540 North.
During the free program, the society also will demonstrate how a paranormal investigation is conducted. A question-and-answer session is scheduled and those who attend are invited to share ghost stories or personal paranormal experiences.
Camp Floyd was established in 1858 under the command of Albert Sidney Johnston. It housed nearly one-third of the U.S. Army until the beginning of the Civil War in 1861, when it was recalled to the east and Camp Floyd was abandoned.
For more information, contact the park at (801) 768-8932.
