PLAN-B THEATRE COMPANY on Nov. 4, 5-9 p.m., in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. Broadway (300 South), for its world premiere of Aden Ross's "Amerika," directed by Jerry Rapier. There are roles for one man, 30-45, and two women, one 30-50 and one 40-55. Equity contracts are available.
The plot revolves around three persons being held hostage in an undisclosed location. The locally written play is an examination of money, power, lies, self-censorship and terrorism. It will open Plan-B's 2006 season March 17-April 2.

ALPINE PLAYHOUSE, 81 S. 100 West, Alpine, on Nov. 5, 9 a.m.-noon, for "Forever Plaid," directed by Bradin Wilhelmsen. Needed are male actors of all voice types, 16 and older. All roles are open.
Come prepared with a one-minute monologue and a Broadway-style song. An accompanist will be provided. These auditions are by appointment only (756-0220). Play dates are Jan. 13-Feb. 11.
