Depleted uranium is toxic

After reading a recent article on the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's decision to review their policy on depleted uranium, I am appalled that the Utah Legislature is considering allowing Envirocare to expand its current waste site. Profit should not dictate what is considered safe for the citizens of this state. The facts are clear: Depleted uranium is too toxic to be stored in a shallow landfill. Do we really want to risk our health because "that's how we interpret the rules?"
