Southern Utah

SOCCER: Shaley Ipson scored her fourth goal of the season just over three minutes into the first overtime period to lead SUU to its third straight victory, 2-1, over Louisiana State-Shreveport on Sunday afternoon in Shreveport, La. The Thunderbirds improved to 6-3-6, ensuring the club's first winning season since the program's inception in 2001.

Utah State

SOCCER: At Fresno, Calif., sophomore goalkeeper Kelli Allred recorded five saves and her second shutout of the season as the Aggies held on for a 0-0 tie with Fresno State in a Western Athletic Conference soccer match on Sunday. The tie gives both teams a single point towards the conference standings. Utah State moved to 2-2-1 in the WAC and 5-8-4 overall. The tie pushes USU closer to clinching a spot in the WAC soccer tournament held in Boise, Idaho, on Nov. 3-5.

VOLLEYBALL: USU will host Fresno State today at 7 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in a Western Athletic Conference match. It will be USU's sixth home match of the year after playing 17 of its first 22 contests on the road.
