GRADE A-
Offense
The Utes racked up more than 500 yards of total offense for the second consecutive week. This time, however, it led to a victory. Running back Quinton Ganther led the way with a career-high 155 yards rushing and three touchdowns.
GRADE C+
Defense
Utah got the job don, but gave up a couple of big plays along the way a 61-yard run (UNLV's longest ground play since 2002) and a 50-yard pass. A late personal-foul penalty on fourth down led to a touchdown by the Rebels.
GRADE B+
Special teams
Eric Weddle's mishandling of a fair catch on a punt led to a UNLV field goal and an early 3-0 deficit. The rest of Utah's special-teams play punting, kicking and coverage was solid. The lone exception was giving up a 38-yard kickoff return.
GRADE B+
Overall
After three consecutive losses, Utah finally left the field victorious. The Utes overpowered the Rebels with superior offensive and defensive play. With a bye week ahead, they enter a season-ending stretch on a good note.
