Has anyone walked up Main Street and noticed the damage to the planter boxes? The damage is caused by kids who skateboard on Main Street even though there is a place in Liberty Park for them to skateboard. I have learned the reason for the city police refusing to enforce the ordinance against it is because these kids say, "We're waiting for a bus."
I have a suggestion: Raise the fine from $80 to $20,000. Maybe these kids and their parents would get the message.
