Rams will win if . . . they score more than 31 points on BYU's home field, get turnovers, big plays or long drives.
Cougars will win if . . . their offense can help out the defense by repeating the fireworks shown against TCU in the first MWC game in LaVell Edwards Stadium (614 total yards).

The Rams rank 97th in the nation in rushing defense, 95th in pass-efficiency defense, 85th in scoring defense, 97th in total defense and 72nd in pass defense. The Cougars rank 84th in rushing defense, 52nd in pass-efficiency defense, 78th in total defense, 74th in scoring defense and 67th in pass defense.
