PROVO Edward Friedman, professor of Spanish and comparative literature at Vanderbilt University, will speak Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.
Friedman will visit BYU for the campuswide celebration of the 400th anniversary of Miguel de Cervantes' "Don Quixote." He will discuss "The Heart of Don Quixote," which looks at the ways in which Cervantes presented a satirical vision of the protagonist Don Quixote while underscoring his humanity in the novel.
