Brad Simkins, executive director of the Homeless Youth Resource Center, has received the "Book of Golden Deeds" award from the Exchange Club of Salt Lake.
Presented since 1961, the award is given to a person who gives to the community in an quiet manner. Simkins was honored for his efforts to mobilize resources for children and young adults living on the streets of Salt Lake.
