I found Helen Radkey's letter (Readers' Forum, Oct. 8) to be unfounded. She states that the LDS Church teaches that other churches are wayward and desecrates the memory of the dead through proxy baptisms.
I've found the members of the LDS Church seek to redeem the dead with a sincerity that hardly desecrates them. How ironic is it that a member of a church that claims that they "will not stand between you and your God" on their Web site criticizes other beliefs.
