The Gordon Harrison family of Bountiful will be featured in an episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on Sunday. The episode will air at 7 p.m. on KTVX Channel 4.
Shooting for the episode began in early August. Nearly 1,500 volunteers worked around-the-clock to remodel and remake the Harrison home, located at 702 E. 500 South in Bountiful. Work was also donated by Salt Lake City-based Okland Construction, the project's volunteer contractor.
Details about the home makeover have been embargoed. Members of the "Extreme Makeover" cast said the home's kitchen is big enough for gourmet cooking. Gordon Harrison will have his own workshop.
The Harrisons were nominated by neighbors for a home makeover. Neighbors said that Harrison, 40, has worked to serve others, even while suffering from from pancreatic cancer.
