DAVIS DEF. VIEWMONT 21-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-18, 15-10: For Davis, Kayla Walker had 35 kills and Anna Bullard had 58 assists. Micah Lines had 25 kills and 22 digs for Viewmont. Amanda Carter added 16 kills, four aces and 11 digs for Viewmont. Krista deCoursey had 47 assists and four aces for the Vikings.

REGION 2

TAYLORSVILLE DEF. JORDAN 25-19, 25-18, 25-13: Cyd Allen led the Warriors with strong hitting in a sweep of the Beetdiggers. Taylorsville scored 16 points off Allen's serving. Kim Gourley had a strong outing with consistent passing for the Warriors. For Jordan, Liz Egbert had six blocks, Dottie Vea had six digs and Alexis Housholder had nine assists.

BRIGHTON DEF. SKYLINE 25-15, 25-22, 25-18: The Bengals remained undefeated on the season with a region win over the Eagles. Erica Wardell led Brighton with nine kills and three blocks.

ALTA DEF. HILLCREST 25-17, 25-16, 25-10: Sydney Anderson had 13 kills and Amanda Vance added 10 kills to carry Alta to the Region 2 victory.

REGION 3

HUNTER DEF. RIVERTON 25-21, 25-20, 25-22: The Wolverines swept the Silverwolves to remain unbeaten this year.

BINGHAM DEF. KEARNS 25-15, 25-21, 25-12: Catrina Beech served 14 in a row, including three aces, to lead the Miners to a sweep. Kelsie Mcleary had nine digs and Megan Anderson added eight kills and three blocks for Bingham. Megan Marks and Cami Hymas each had six kills for the Miners.

WEST JORDAN DEF. COPPER HILLS 25-19, 18-25, 25-22, 27-25: Taisa Thompson paced the Jaguars with 12 kills and 13 blocks. Jessie Smith added 12 kills for West Jordan.

REGION 4

PLEASANT GROVE DEF. SPANISH FORK 25-9, 25-11, 25-5: The Vikings recorded 27 service aces to break the state record in their three-game sweep of the Dons.

MOUNTAIN VIEW DEF. TIMPANOGOS 23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-16: After dropping the first game, the Bruins rebounded to take the next three from the Timberwolves. Alyssa Merrell led Mountain View with 14 kills while Angie Glassford had 12 kills and Chelsea Tressler added eight.

REGION 5

SKY VIEW DEF. BONNEVILLE 25-13, 25-17, 20-25, 25-17: The Bobcats remained undefeated in region play with a victory over the Lakers. Kacie Egbert led Sky View with 14 kills and five aces while Nicole Sorensen added 12 kills and nine blocks. Shanda Larsen chipped in with six kills and 16 digs for Sky View.
