Taft Morley

Spanish Fork Dons

Sport: Football

Class: Senior

Position: Receiver/defensive back/kick returner

The numbers: On a team with few seniors, Morley has been the glue that has held the Dons together in a season of injuries. He's caught at least one touchdown pass in four games this season, and his TD catch against Payson earlier in the year was the game winner. In last week's crucial come-from-behind win over Timpanogos, Morley caught 11 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown. He also added 133 yards in kick returns and played solid pass defense.

Kristina Doerr

Lone Peak Knights

Sport: Tennis

Class: Junior

Position: No. 1 singles

The numbers: Doerr is far and away the top tennis player in Utah County, and probably the state. Whenever she walks onto the court against the competition, she dominates from beginning to end. She went undefeated in Region 4 competition and easily won the region crown last week. She'll go for her second straight state title this week. She is a national 18 and under competitor and plans to enter a tournament in Kentucky in November.
