PROVO — Amy Robinson, a Provo artist and BYU graduate in art, is opening a unique personal art exhibit to the public during the month of October.

What began as a backyard storage shed area next to her home has been transformed over the past two years by Robinson into a kind of shrine for her work in stained glass, sculpture and mosaic art.

Now she wants to share that.

Her work includes elements of water, earth, fire and air as well as elements taken from various religious traditions from the East and the West that have influenced Robinson spiritually and artistically.

She invites visitors to come and seek personal refuge in the collage of ancient traditions and universal concepts, work she has titled "Sanctuary."

The sanctuary will be open until Oct. 25 and visitors may choose when they would like to visit between the hours of approximately 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. The artwork is located on the east side of Robinson's home at 690 W. 400 North in Provo.
