BYU

MEN'S TENNIS: BYU will send four to Tulsa, Okla., to compete in the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tennis Championships beginning today. Qualifying for the event was based on singles and doubles records from last season. The Cougars selected to play in Tulsa will be participating in both the singles and doubles events. Nima Roshan and Dominik Kaufhold will represent BYU in the singles qualifiers. Roshan will also compete in the doubles draw with Jose Lechuga. The other doubles team representing BYU features Kaufhold and James Ludlow.

WOMEN'S TENNIS: Three members of the BYU have been invited to compete in the ITA Women's All-American Championships starting Tuesday in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Invitations to the championships are made based on pre-season rankings. Olga Boulytcheva, Lauren Jones and Dolly Chang will represent the Cougars.

GOLF: Former BYU golfer and 2003 Masters champion Mike Weir and 28 current or past professionals will host a free golf clinic open to the public at the Riverside Country Club at 9:30 a.m. today. The free golf clinic will kick off the 2005 Cougar Day golf tournament at Riverside, which is a fund-raiser for the No. 7 BYU golf team. The clinic will last about an hour and will be held at the No. 1 tee box area behind the Riverside Country Club clubhouse. The public is invited to attend the free event.

Utah

CROSS COUNTRY: Once again, Chelsea DiGrazia was the top finisher for Utah on Saturday in Missoula, Mont., at the Montana Invitational. DiGrazia finished 15th with a time of 22:49. The team placed sixth overall with 132 points. Ashlee Warnick finished 22nd with a time of 23:25. Nicki Hugie was right behind her teammate with a time of 23:37 and finished 25th.

Southern Utah

SOCCER: At Terre Haute, Ind., despite a school-record 19 shots on goal, SUU (2-2-5) played to its fourth straight tie as the Thunderbirds and Indiana State battled to a 2-2 draw Sunday at the ISU Soccer Complex. Junior Dani Lavigne and Ashley Smith scored goals for SUU.

Utah Valley

SOCCER: At Las Vegas, UVSC was on the losing end of a 4-0 decision to Northern Arizona on Sunday. NAU scored three goals in the first half, two coming from Cee Cee Odorfer in the first 10 minutes of the game. NAU's final goal came on a free kick in the 71st minute. The Wolverines did have 14 shot attempts. The loss drops Utah Valley State to 3-7. It hosts Utah State on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
