Jewett Center for the Performing Arts (Westminster College, department of art) — Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory: Hispanic Culture: 1598-2005, "Breaking Apart Labels: Revealing Humanity," featuring art by Ruby Chacn, and "We Remember, We Celebrate, We Believe: Photo History of Latinos in Utah," featuring photography by Armando Solrzano, through Oct. 22. Murray Public Library (166 E. 5300 South) — Annual Juried Arts and Crafts Show, featuring nearly 50 Murray artists working in watercolor, oil, acrylic, graphics, photography, woodworking, ceramics, sculpture, needlework and other craft forms, through Oct. 22.

Thursday

Rose Wagner Art Gallery* (138 W. 300 South) — "Still Standing — Standing Still," featuring paintings by Royden Card and G.J. LaBonty, through Dec. 31. Artists reception Friday, Oct. 14, from 6-9 p.m.

Utah Museum of Fine Art* (University of Utah, South Campus Drive, 581-7332) — "Her Spirit is Stranger Than the Angels: Frida Kahlo Through the Lens of Nickolas Muray," featuring 24 photographs of Kahlo by Muray, through May 14, 2006.
