Several Utah housing authorities will receive federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The grants, announced Thursday by U.S. Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, will be used for administration of home ownership programs. The funds are used to pay the salaries of program coordinators in local housing agencies.
The Utah agencies receiving HUD's Housing Choice Voucher-Family Self Sufficiency Grant are: Provo City Housing Authority: $78,488
Housing Authority of Utah County: $42,334
Housing Authority of Salt Lake County: $87,487
Housing Authority of Ogden: $54,307
Housing Authority of Salt Lake City: $97,317
Davis County Housing Authority: $37,081
Cedar City Housing Authority: $50,300
