BYU Museum of Art, North Campus Dr., Provo, will present "Healing Hand: A Family Presentation on Carl Bloch's 'Christ Healing the Sick at Bethesda,' " Monday evening from 7-8. The multimedia presentation on Bloch's painting will take place every month on the first Monday. For more information call 422-8287.

Printmaker Stefanie Dykes will present a lecture for the Department of Art and Design's Art Major Seminar on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the J.L. Sorenson Physical Education Building, Room 101, at Southern Utah University. Dykes' lecture, "Multiple Originals," will focus on printmakers worldwide and the print form. Dykes' will also hold a printmaking demonstration the same day at 1 p.m in the printmaking studio, Room 102, in the South Hall, for students and the public. For more information, call 435-865-8800.

Hill Gallery & Sculpture Park, Sandy, won first place in the commercial category of the 2005 Sandy Beautification Contest. The gallery was honored by the City Council and Mayor Tom Dolan.

Saltgrass Printmakers, 2126 S. 1000 East, will teach a reductive woodblock printing class on Wednesdays, Oct. 12, 15, 19, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 22, from 11a.m.-2 p.m. Class fee is $150, and students will need to bring their own gouges.
