Joey (7 p.m., Ch. 5): Joey has to deal with an unruly child actor on the set of his new movie.

The O.C. (7 p.m., Ch. 13): Another huge trial for Marissa — she has to go to (gasp!) public school.

Will & Grace (7:30 p.m., Ch. 5): Alec Baldwin and Eric Stoltz guest star in this "live" episode (which will be seen on tape-delay in this time zone, of course), as the show begins its eighth and last season.

CSI (8 p.m., Ch. 2): A young movie star is found dead in his hotel room.

Night Stalker (8 p.m., Ch. 4): Debut of this below-average sci-fi/horror show.

The Apprentice (8 p.m., Ch. 5): One contestant threatens to quit, another deals with a death, and there's a serious injury. That's entertainment!

Reunion (8 p.m., Ch. 13): It's 1989, and Samantha tracks down the baby she gave up for adoption.

Without a Trace (9 p.m., Ch. 2): Martin is near death after being shot in an ambush. (Fourth-season premiere)

ER (9 p.m., Ch. 5): A baby's life is in danger when a surrogate mother makes a dramatic decision.
