    Apple Frame Gallery (70 N. Main, Bountiful, 298-1227) — "LeConte Stewart Country," featuring plein air painters Rob Adamson, Ken Baxter, G. Russell Case, Linda Curley Christensen, Phyllis Horne, John Hughes, Elva Malin, and more, through Saturday.

    Utah Museum of Fine Art* (University of Utah, South Campus Drive, 581-7332) — "The Printer's Ink," featuring prints from the UMFA's collection. Also a traveling exhibition of prints by the Southern Graphics Council, featuring 39 prints by contemporary printmakers. Both exhibits run through Dec. 4.

  • Saturday

    The Leonardo at Library Square (209 E. 500 South) — "Exodus," featuring 300 black and white photographs by Sabastio Salgado that tell the story of displacement due to war, natural disasters and environmental degradation. The exhibit runs through Dec. 17.

    Sprague Branch Library (2131 S. 1100 East, 524-8280) — "Discovery and Conquest: Woodcuts and Monotypes by Lisa Nichols" through Nov. 19.

    Alvin Gittins Gallery (Department of art and art history, University of Utah) — "HIGH(calorie)ART," featuring recent works by Kent David Christensen, through Oct. 5. Christensen will discuss his work on Friday, Sept. 30, 6 p.m., in Room 158 followed by a reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

    Art Access* (339 W. Pierpont, 328-0703) — "What's Lost, What's Found," featuring artwork by Suzanne Simpson and Jacqui Biggs Larsen, through Oct. 9.

    Art Barn/Finch Lane Gallery* (54 Finch Lane, 596-5000) — "Sacred Geography," featuring art by Tom Bettin and Tom Dolan, and "Obsessed with Self," featuring art by John Erickson and Tom Hoffman. Both exhibits run through Nov. 4.
