Granite schools get OK to host fund-raisers for Katrina victims

Granite schools have the Board of Education's blessing to host fund-raisers for Hurricane Katrina victims.

The board approved an exception to the schools' charitable fund-raiser rule, which allows only one per year. This lets schools have a second fund-raiser to help evacuees relocated to Camp Williams if they've already committed to another charity.
