Serene, imaginative, expansive. New-age pianist Paul Cardall's music has been called that and much more.
The musician who first came to the attention of the music scene with his interpretation of Richard Paul Evans' "The Christmas Box," now has six CDs to his credit, comprised of everything from his own compositions to versions of songs by such artists as Sting and Simon and Garfunkel, and arrangements of inspirational melodies.
Cardall has recorded with Narada and his own Stone Angel Music Company. His most recent release is "Primary Worship," an album featuring traditional LDS children's music presented with his own unique approach. The Chicago Sun-Times describes his music as "wonderfully moving and inspiring."
With his newly formed Stone Angel Band, Cardall will be presenting some of this music as a concert in Kingsbury Hall Friday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12, $16 and $18 and can be purchased at the Kingsbury Hall box office, online at www.
