Rolando Benitez, a UVSC freshman, transfers a mouthful of earthworms from a dirt-filled bucket of worms to a waiting jar as part of a three-day UVSC Fear Factor competition on Wednesday. Contestants were only allowed to use their mouths. Benitez took second place in the lunchtime event by moving 157 worms to the jar in 45 seconds, which was good enough for him to advance to the final day of competition on Thursday. The victor wins a 27-inch color TV.
