MONTICELLO Monticello High School's Student Association of Volunteer Youth club is challenging Utah students to "Care A Lot" for survivors of Hurricane Katrina. SAVY is raising the money to help school districts in Louisiana and Mississippi.
By Oct. 15, SAVY hopes at least $1 will be donated for each high school student and $2 for each faculty or staff member. Donations will be accepted at MHS or any Zions Zion's Bank.
For more information, contact SAVY adviser Tauna Larson or MHS principal James Stock at 435-587-2465.
