Evacuees still in Utah invited to Snowbird Friday

The approximately 270 hurricane evacuees still in Utah have received an open invitation to Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort this Friday.

The resort has offered free rides on its Alpine Slide, ZipRider, Bungy Trampoline and Aerial Tram from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as a barbecue lunch provided by Sysco Intermountain Food Service and Pepsi. The Utah Air National Guard will provide transportation from Camp Williams to Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
