The Army Reserve and Army veterans will be supporting a charity event Thursday at Ensign Schools in American Fork to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims.

The 96th Regional Readiness Command of the U.S. Army and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 3586 will accept monetary donations, toys, personal items and luggage from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

There also will be opportunities for members of the public to have their pictures taken in a military Humvee.

The donation area will be set up in the parking lot of the second building on Center Street.
