SCERA CENTER'S THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES will hold auditions for "Bunnicula," a 75-minute musical based on the popular children's book by James Howe, on Tuesday, 7-10 p.m., in Room B1 of the SCERA, 745 S. State, Orem.

Auditioners should be 18 or older and prepared to sing 16-32 measures of an upbeat song that shows character. An accompanist or CD player will be provided. "Bunnicula," directed by Jeremy Showgren, will play in the Showhouse II from Oct. 14-Nov. 3, with 10 a.m. matinees Tuesday-Friday, 7:30 p.m. shows on Fridays and Mondays and Saturday matinees at 2 p.m.

MIDVALE COPPERVIEW THEATRE ARTS YOUTH PROGRAM is holding auditions on Sept. 16, 7-9 p.m., and Sept. 17, 9 a.m.-noon, for its fall production, "Broadway Blast," in the Copperview Community Center, 8446 S. Harrison St. (272 West). Come prepared with 16 bars of music from a Broadway song and learn a short dance routine and be prepared to read from the script. A CD player and piano will be provided; bring your own CD or accompanist (561-0075).

SPRINGVILLE PLAYHOUSE will hold auditions for Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap" on Sept. 16, 7-9 p.m., and Sept. 17, 10 a.m.-noon, in the playhouse (basement of the city library, 50 S. Main). There are roles for five men and three women, 20-65 years of age. There will be cold readings from the script. Al Ricci is directing (375-3188).

CENTER STREET MUSICAL THEATRE, 177 W. Center St., Provo, will hold auditions for "A Christmas Carol: The Broadway Musical" on Sept. 17 from 1-4 p.m. All roles are available. Come prepared with 31 measures of a musical-theater piece. An accompanist and CD player will be available. Play dates are Nov. 25-Dec. 23 (763-0535 or www.csmtc.com).
